The Royal Palace & El Templo de Madrid

Today was great. We slept in until 9:00. Then we got ready and headed to the metro (subway). We rode the Metro to the plaza del Sol. Then we did a self-guided tour all the way to the Palacio Royal. Then we stood in line for 45 min. to get into the palacio. We got a handheld audio guide and went around the palace. It was so neat. We really liked seeing the throne room, which is still used by the king and queen. We also liked seeing the armoury, which showed all the armor that they would wear and that their horses would wear too. On our way back to the Metro we got "Bocadillos", Spanish sandwiches. Yummy!! Then hurried and changed our clothes and headed out to the temple. Brycen does a great job driving, it is crazy! We got into the session and found out that it was a french session, so we had headsets so we could listen in spanish. After we finished at the temple we headed over the the institute building and saw one of Brycen's mission presidents, Presidente Lopez. It was fun talking with him. Then we went out to eat and they had a bull fight on the tv in the restaurant, it was so gruesome. Tomorrow we are headed down to southern spain.
